We are a roleplaying group on facebook. On the right hand side is a picture of the Admin team. STA was originally formed in early October 2010 as a response to someone threatening to destroy roleplay. It was originally called STG (Star Trek Galaxy), then was changed to STC (Star Trek Collaboration), before we finally settled on STA in March 2011. It was made to give people piece of mind when roleplaying so that they could roleplay in a safe an fun environment. Rules were made up to protect people from getting hurt... both in the group and outside the group. With a team of dedicated Admins that are there to help the group members.... we are solely focused on keeping roleplay fun... and keeping people who cause drama and trouble out of the group. There have been a couple of incidents in the first few months of the group. But that has since calmed down now and we are back on track... we are trying to bring Star Trek Roleplay into the here and now. Helping people have fun roleplaying as the characters they want to be from the shows they love... in the Star Trek Universe. We have a diverse range of characters in our group. A lot of them are not even from Star Trek but are from different TV shows and the people have brought them into Star Trek. We also have people crossing from past and future into our timeline year (2387). We follow the Star Trek Timeline and try to keep it as canon as possible. But as long as it can happen in Star Trek then we do not mind (i.e. Slipstream, Transphasic torpedoes etc). Things that have been seen in future alternate timelines are allowed... as long as they are possible. |
